Gamers8 reveals $2m Fortnite Tournament

This year's Gamers8 Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has announced it will feature a Fortnite Zero Build tournament with a $2 million prize pool.

It comes off the back of the annual event announcing its record-breaking $45 million total prize pool.

The success of Zero Build has prompted Gamers8 to pivot from Battle Royale this year and focus on this newer mode.

The $2 Million Zero Build Duos will take place from July 6 - 9 and feature top players from around the world.

Content creators and professional players will receive direct invitations to compete in the event, though regular players will also have the opportunity to qualify too.

DreamHack Fortnite will be hosting three open LANs from April onwards, with the top teams from each earning a place in Riyadh. These events will each have their own individual $250,000 prize pools.
